Currently there isn’t a way to set the default homepage for individual regions. However, you can set the default homepage in Firefox by typing “about:preferences#home” in the URL bar and pressing enter. Then choose “Custom URLs…” from the Homepage and new windows drop down. Paste https://duckduckgo.com/ into the text field. Your default homepage (https://duckduckgo.com/) should now open when you start Firefox.
To use the clientless version whenever you open a new window or session set this as your homepage instead: https://lpw1.cloudedworlds.com/clientless/demo/#url=https://duckduckgo.com/
When using the browser extension you can also “Whitelist” internal/intranet sites and “safe” sites by opening the extension’s preferences and adding the site. Whitelisting in this context means to not use the malware protected browser extension when visiting the site.
