Fortinet FortiGate integration with ConcealBrowse

If you're using Fortinet FortiGATE, you have the option to integrate that with ConcealBrowse. This guide will outline what you'll need for setting up the integration.

Fortinet FortiGATE Setup

  1. In the FortiGATE UI, go to Security Profiles -> Web Filter
  2. Access the Default policy
  3. If not enabled, toggle to enable the URL Filter
  4. Click Create New. ConcealBrowse supports the use of Wildcards. In this example, we’ll be using a Simple Type. As a test, we added sites with Allow & Block policy
  5. Next, we need to configure an API access token if one does not exist. From System -> Administration, click Create New
  6. Specify a Username and Administrator Profile. You may enable your own specific security configurations as long as they permit API access.
  7. Make note of newly generated API Key for steps below
