What is device based/silent deployment method through ConcealBrowse?

Question:

What is device based/silent deployment method through ConcealBrowse?

Answer:

A device based, also known as a silent deployment, is a method of deployment done by the IT Staff at the organization that deploys ConcealBrowse and automatically authenticates ConcealBrowse on the device. The Powershell script is most commonly used alongside the organization's RMM tool such as Intune, Datto, Ninja and Kaseya.

Benefits of a device based deployment include:

  • No user interaction required and upon deployment the device is immediately protected.
  • Gives the administrator the option to force enable the extension meaning the user cannot disable or remove the extension, not allowing them to go around Conceal's protection.
  • Gives the administrator the option of disabling incognito/guest mode, since Google does not allow enforcing extensions in incognito/guest mode, we highly suggest this setting.
  • Give the administrator the option the force pin the extension in the toolbar so users can always see the extension and easily access the interface.
