Question:
How does ConcealBrowse protect against credential theft?
Answer:
ConcealBrowse Credential Guard leverages AI to interrogate web pages with login forms as they load, from the user’s perspective. By using a combination of intelligence, AI and computer vision, webpages are analyzed in real time as they load in the user’s browser for artifacts that help determine if the webpage asking for credentials is legitimate or not. All of this happens while in isolation, creating an additional layer of protection.
For instance, if a website contains Microsoft logos but comes from a URL that is not related to Microsoft, Credential Guard will identify the site as a phishing attempt and block the user from entering credentials. Since analysis is performed at the user endpoint it addresses logic tricks used by threat actors to bypass traditional cloud or network based security solutions. The end result is that Conceal’s approach and model are able to identify and defend against attacks that other methods never even see.
