The web browser no longer allows sites to go into isolation
Description
No sites appear to be placed into isolation. This occurs with sites that previously went into isolation.
Known Environmental Variables
- macOS Big Sur
- macOS Monterey
- Windows 10, Windows 11
- Chrome Browser
- ConcealBrowse 0.4.5+
Solution
- Open the web browser where you have the ConcealBrowse extension downloaded.
- Navigate to manage your extensions.
For Google Chrome - chrome://extensions
For Microsoft Edge - edge://extensions - Verify that the ConcealBrowse browser extension is present on turned on. If so, please proceed to Step 4. Otherwise, please refer to these articles:

- Ensure the ConcealBrowse extension is logged in and shows a green box with the text of "on" within. A color of red in the box with a text display of "off" indicates that the extension is not authenticating within the aligned ConcealBrowse instance.

- Please reach out to Conceal support for a site that you can test isolation with. While still in your browser, navigate to the site provided. You should see a screen from Conceal letting you know that we have determined this site risky, and give you options to continue into isolation or to return to your previous page.
- If this test did not put you into isolation - please report this to Customer Success by following directions at the bottom of this article.
If your desired site is not going to isolation as it previously was, ConcealBrowse is no longer seeing this as a potentially malicious or harmful site.
